Dear Friends in Ministry -

For the last 10 years, the Lowcountry Lock-In has been a staple for many youth groups on the January calendar. During that time, thousands of students have entered the Ice Palace for a night of music, ministry and, depending on your perspective, mayhem.

Each year, we have taken time to seek God and to see if we're to do this event again. I have decided - after a lot of prayer - that God desires us to take a break from the Lowcountry Lock-In for January 2008.

It's been our honor at Crosstown Ministries to bring you this event for so long and if God so leads us to do it again it the future, we cannot wait. In the meantime, join me in praying for new ministry events to develop.

This year we welcome Hip Hop/R&B band

Youth Leaders – If you have questions, please fill out our contact form.

During the last two years, God seems to be moving towards a Charleston One Day Concert or series - combining worship, teaching, prayer to help raise up these young generations to impact their world now. If you are interested in joining me in praying for and discussing this, please email or call me.

In the meantime, Crosstown Ministries continues to provide event management and sound and lighting services for all kinds of ministry events. If we can help you in this area, please don't hesitate to call us.

Lastly, thank you. Thank you for allowing us to share in your church's ministry in such a small way. I have always believed that the Lock-In existed to give you and your leaders opportunities to build relationships with your students and their friends, and ultimately that those relationships would lead to true faith in Christ. I hope in some small way we've accomplished that.

For His Sake,

Trevor Spencer

It’s all night, all youth (and leaders, too), and all fun! It’s the Lowcountry Lock-In, a youth event at the Carolina Ice Palace, for junior and senior high youth from churches across the lowcountry of South Carolina.

For the last 10 years, hundreds of students will descend on the Ice Palace for the Lowcountry Lock-In. The Lock-In includes all night ice skating, broom ball, a concert, food and much more.
